Book in progress

Hello, today I would like to rant.
So I have to finish writing my book so that it can be published. I have 4 pages done. I have been hooked on watching things on Netflix and during the summer I will have almost no time to write. I have to have it done by Aug. 1st. UHHHHH I can't do this. Well I can but I don't want to.

 This is my wattpad cover for the book. I'm the one that made it so it looks bad but once the book is professionally published it will have a better cover. Well thanks for listening (well reading).

Sweet Venom

Hello welcome back to my blog this is Megan. Well let’s get down to business. Today the book is Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs.

I have read many reviews for this book and they all sound negative. (I will publish some of the ‘positive’ ones) So I decided to write my feelings on this book.

Sweet Venom is about long lost triplets that find each other. The book starts off in Gretchen's point of view, she is going to an abandoned warehouse around the middle of the night to go kill a mythical beast called a Hydra.

Well, soon after Grace is introduced. She and her foster family just moved to San Francisco, the only place where you can find mythical creatures. Once she moved her whole life changed.

I’m still in the process of reading the book so I haven’t met Greer but she has been described as the preppy chic kind of girl.

Each of the sisters have different backgrounds and personalities.

Gretchen has really bad foster parents so she ran away and her mentor Ursula ‘adopted’ her (the authorities don't know about the arrangement.)

Grace grew up with a loving adopted family and they love her, they also adopted Grace’s ‘brother’. He is a little quiet and it seems like he has a secret to hide.

Greer I have no clue.

Well these three girls are descendants of Medusa, but not the Medusa we all thinks of (That is just a rumor spread by Athena).

And so far they have powers. Grace can teleport and they have fangs, and super healing abilities.

Now back to the beginning when Gretchen finds Grace.  Gretchen’s mentor has been missing for awhile and she has been calling and calling her but hasn't been able to get an answer. Well she becomes more frantic once she finds Grace because she never knew she had a sister, and there is a lot more monsters coming out than normal. And both still have to deal with schooling and if Gretchen’s out fighting monsters all night you can guess how her schooling goes.        Now my review: I love this book (good thing it’s first in a trilogy) I haven’t been able to put it down. It’s a great book for people that love mythology and kinda sorta mystery. For a while I have been wanting something that has assassinations in it because I’m in a book hangover and I have only been able to read in that one genre and so once I found this book I was automatically hooked. People say it starts off slow but it is actually not, but I fully recommend this book.

Well As the title states this is about one of them.

                                                                                               

I fell in Paris.

This book is about a girl that goes to an art school in Paris. After her fathers tragic death she changed she was all dark and gloom in her paintings but her outer shell was fake she had to act normal but her father was always the best and treated her the kindest and as her older sister states the favorite. 

As the description says :  I never thought studying in Paris could be exciting.

My mom thought that the states were to enclosing for my artistic hand so she shipped me off to Paris. The land of love as some people  call it. I thought that me studying there was going to be uneventful. Boy was I so wrong.

Book review # 1

Okay so apparently I suck at book reviews so I will just tell you about the book.

I have recently started to re-read the Mortal Instruments Series. I am still on the first book though I have read all of them. I have decided to re-read this series because of the new t.v show coming out Shadowhunters.

I personally don't like the first book. but this is where the characters get established. I have to say that in the book Izzy is my fave character. My next top fave character is Clary.

For the people that have not read The City of Bones it is about a girl also known as Clary Fray. She finds out that she is basically not human. She is something called a shadowhunter. A race of Nephilum that protect you know what I'll just read the back hoping that it is not copy righted. CF goes to a club with her friend and sees a murder. The murder was committed by three teenagers with black markings on their bodies *cough* Runes *cough*. This is the first time she meets up with the shadowhunters they are destined to rid the world of demons and to keep down worlders in line. She also meets up with the handsome Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower did a horrible job as him for reals get a hotter actor to play him good thing they aren't making a second movie) Well she is sucked into this world of strange things because her mom was kidnapped by demons you read that in the book.Well she gets this thing called the sight and she can see things that ordinary mundanes cant see and so she has to save her mom and do other stuff and she finds out things that are astonishing and forms a relationship but then finds something out and so I think it stops for a while well no more spoilers.

And that was not the real description I didn't want to get sued for plagiarism so I paraphrased the back of the book.
